I almost cried the first time I killed a man. But just when I thought I’d break down my friend reached over, put his warm hand on my blood soaked shoulder and said “dude… he totally deserved it.” After a few moments I slowly nodded, then looked up into his deep black eyes and said “thanks Satan. That helped.” Ooo… did you just get chills? I did.
Technical Stuff: I set my wee Kodak C533 on “landscape” and multiple exposure, then braced it against a young pine tree, gave it time to focus and gently pressed the go-button until the camera took its three photos.
The last time I got all painted up for Halloween was back in grade school. I just put thick blue, red and white grease-paint on my face in mostly random swirls… I think I put on my grandfather’s big, red canvas coat. I’m not sure what I called my costume then but now I’d call it “a trip gone bad”.

I found out extremely last minute that we were no longer doing a low-key zombie movie marathon last night. Instead we were going to a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show. My friend told me everyone was dressing up. So I spent two hours yesterday afternoon throwing together a kick-ass witch costume at Valu Village. Black and Grey streaky wig. Black dress. Appropriately celticky necklaces. Red tights with black barbed wire running up the legs. Black cobwebby gloves that went all the way to my elbows. It was the best costume I have ever put together on such short notice.
I arrived at my friends’ place excited to see all the costumes… and everyone was in plain clothes.
That is a killer photo. I love how it all fades to black at edges. So creepy.
Your friend is a bit of a dick. Sounds like a killer costume though. Definitely the best one put together at the last minute I’ve ever head of… how many people were dressed up at the movie?
I think the best part of the photo are the little people watching the coffin…
lol I guess I did make him sound like a bit of a dick. In all fairness he and another girl changed into their costumes before we left for the movie. Which was sold out. We ended up at a pub for a pint. Most people out and about were dressed up. We saw two people dressed up as tetris pieces.
You know, I didn’t even notice the little people. Is it wrong that it makes the photo creepier?
